Melville Agricultural Contractors Limited came into fruition from the ideas and aspirations of a young man who had a love of the land. After 10 years of work and learning on the land, he acheived his dream by setting up his own concern. Based in the heart of farming country, the business quickly built a reputation for delivering what it promised: meeting the high standards set by its customers and within customers' budgets.

The working environment is paramount and Simon Melville believes in being “hands on”. The door is always open to his staff to deal with any problems they may have. All staff undergo training and are regularly assessed so M.A.C can provide the best possible solutions for the job in hand.

The company is gradually building a loyal customer base which is fuelling the successful growth of the business. To enable the business to position itself better and break into untapped markets, a marketing campaign is about to be launched which should significantly increase turnover and market share, whilst sustaining the present customer base. In fact with the introduction of these initiatives, the vision is that the business will become a dominant force in the area.
